PIRATES AND PRINCESSES DVD UPDATE
Just to keep you up to date on developments with our DVD. Post-mixing and editing has been completed and it has been sent for Replication. We should have an estimated delivery date very soon and will keep you posted. Apologies to those who pre-ordered and had expected it in two – three weeks, the guys handling the pre-orders got their wires crossed a bit, but we had always anticipated it would take till early to mid-April to be ready. Rest assured we will get it posted out as soon as possible after receiving the shipment. Thanks for your patience.
It took longer than we had expected to do all the polishing and tweaking that was needed after filming day (March 1st) but we are delighted it is now complete and signed off. We hope you enjoy the finished product.

CROWDFUNDER COMPLETE – TARGET SMASHED
We have reached and passed our crowd funding target. And it’s all thanks to you guys. 665 backers raised the incredible sum of £23,984 in 28 days. You will never know how grateful we are. So it’s all go now as we head to our very first performances of ‘Pirates and Princesses’ at the SECC on March 1st, and start to work through all the pledges for the rewards that will be coming your way over the coming weeks. Priority will be for those doing the back stage tours at the first shows and then those who pledged for the DVD credit. Please bear with us and we will get back to all of you.
On behalf of Anya, Kevin, Gary and Bonzo; thank you, thank you, thank you, you are amazing.
With 8 days to go we are at 92% on our Crowdfunder. Your support has been overwhelming and we are so nearly there. New tiers were added at the halfway point with more DVD credits and a special Funbox party being the new rewards. If you haven’t already, click on the link at the top and get pledging. We have great rewards, but please remember they will only be fulfilled if we reach our target by the 20th of February.
Our DVD filming day is on Sunday March the 1st at the SECC, don’t miss out.

FUNBOX NEEDS YOU!
Today we launched our crowd funding appeal (on crowdfunder.co.uk) to help us get Funbox on the road. Our first “Pirates & Princesses” show is at the SECC, Glasgow on March the 1st, and these special performances will be filmed to create our very first Funbox DVD. Filming a DVD is a costly endeavour and to help us cover the costs involved we’ve invited you; our amazing Funbox fans, to get involved and help us out. There are a series of ‘rewards’ that we think you’ll love, that mean you get something special back for donating to us.
We aim to raise £20,000 by Feb 20th and in just a few hours we are more than 30% there. However if we don’t reach, or pass, that target we don’t get a penny, and you don’t get your rewards. We are truly flabbergasted by the amazing support you’ve shown us already. You guys are the best. Some of the rewards are sold out already, and we are looking at possibly creating a couple of new tiers to satisfy demand.
If you feel you, or your friends, want to get involved and become a Funboxer, then click on the link at the top of the page. There’s a short video with Anya and Kevin (and some of our wee fans) that explains what we are trying to do, and all the details of the rewards are there too. Everything helps, and there is the option to make a small donation for no reward too. Check it out. There will be regular updates on Facebook and Twitter too
Thank you Funboxers!!!
Anya, Gary and Kevin have begun work on the very first Funbox CD. We had a great day with Dave at ‘The Sound Cafe’, near Penicuik. We can’t wait for you all to hear it when it’s ready. We also gave our Facebook and Twitter followers a wee video preview of the new Funbox rhyme. The response we got was nothing short of amazing, with loads of you sending us your versions of it. Your videos were awesome. We’ve loads more of them to share too. Find them on our Facebook page.
Cha, cha, cha!!! Kevin, what have you started?
