Kevin Macleod – Writer/Singer/Performer: Hailing from Aberdeen, Kevin’s background was in stage management having studied at Queen Margaret College, but it was difficult to keep him off-stage for long. Having worked for several theatre companies across Scotland, Kevin became a full-time performer with The Singing Kettle in 2001. His background in theatre brought a new focus and energy to the shows. Kevin also relished the challenge of writing scripts for pantomines and shows (including The Singing Kettle’s for many years). He also ‘looks after’ and trains Bonzo the naughty dog in FUNBOX. He performs compere duties at Celtic Connections and Orkney Folk Festivals each year – often swapping showtimes from midday to midnight! Kevin also sings and performs with his rock’n’roll band; Not Big Not Klevir, and in a duo; 3’za Crowd across Scotland. Kevin lives in Perthshire, and is married to Traci (who is Funbox’s merchandiser) and has twin grown-up daughters.
